These terms apply to any individual or legal entity (hereinafter “the Customer”) purchasing a Kleemt license, whether as a consumer under consumer law or as a business.

By placing an order, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions take precedence over any other document provided by the Customer.

Article 3: Description of the Service

Kleemt is a library of pre-designed sections that is natively integrated into the Squarespace editor.
The service allows customers to add premium design sections directly from the "Add a Section" panel in the Squarespace interface, without any coding required.

3.1 Features included in the license

  • Full access to the Kleemt section library is available upon purchase

  • Access to all new sections added after purchase, at no additional cost, for as long as the company exists

  • Native editing of sections via the Squarespace interface (text, images, settings)

  • Email customer support (juliette@kleemt.app) – maximum response time: 48 business hours

3.2 Compatibility

  • Compatible with Squarespace version 7.1 only

  • Requires a Squarespace Business plan (approximately €23/month) or higher

  • Not compatible with Squarespace 7.0

Kleemt.app does not guarantee ongoing compatibility with Squarespace in the event of technical changes to that platform (see Section 9).

Section 4: Free Trial Period

4.1 Term and Conditions

Kleemt offers a free 7-day trial period starting from the date a site is connected, with no obligation to purchase and no need to provide banking information.

4.2 Explicit Warning: Loss of Content Upon Expiration

IMPORTANT: Upon expiration of the trial period, if no license has been purchased, the Kleemt sections will be automatically deactivated on the Customer’s website. The editorial content (text, images) entered in these sections will no longer be visible. This content can only be recovered by purchasing a license within one month of expiration. After this period, Kleemt does not guarantee the recoverability of the data.

By signing up for the free trial, the Customer acknowledges that they have read and expressly accepted this notice.

4.3 Notifications Before Expiration

Kleemt agrees to send the Customer email notifications at the following intervals:

  • One day to go until the end of the trial

The purpose of this notification is to allow the Customer to back up their content or purchase a license before automatic deactivation.

Article 5: License, Fees, and Payment

5.1 Nature of the License

The Kleemt license is:

  • Individual and site-specific: Each license is linked to a unique token generated for a specific Squarespace site. It cannot be used on any other site.

  • Not transferable to a third party: the license is non-transferable and may not be resold, transferred, or shared.

5.2 Professional Use - Freelancers and Agencies

A freelancer or agency that builds Squarespace sites for clients must purchase a separate license for each client site. A single license covers only one site, regardless of who ultimately owns the site.

5.3 Rates

As of the date of publication of these Terms and Conditions, the price of the Kleemt license is:

  • €49 (forty-nine euros) per site, one-time payment

  • Kleemt is exempt from VAT in accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code (VAT exemption scheme). The statement “VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the General Tax Code” applies.

Multi-site packages are available for freelancers and agencies (5, 10, or 20 sites). The applicable rates are those listed on the Kleemt.app website at the time of purchase.

Kleemt.app reserves the right to change its rates at any time. The applicable rates are those in effect on the date of the order.

5.4 Payment

Payment is processed securely online via Stripe. Kleemt.app does not store the Customer’s banking information.

The order is confirmed once payment has been processed. The Customer will receive a confirmation email at the address provided during registration.

Article 6: Right of Withdrawal and Refund

6.1 Legal Right of Withdrawal - 14 Days

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any consumer customer (a natural person acting in a non-commercial capacity) has a period of 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of purchase to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any justification for their decision.

6.2 Terms and Conditions

To exercise this right, the Customer must send a clear request to: juliette@kleemt.app, specifying:

  • His first and last name

  • The email address associated with his Kleemt account

  • The domain name of the website in question

  • Date of purchase

6.3 Effects of the Refund

Upon receipt of a valid request:

  • The license is immediately deactivated

  • The Kleemt sections have been removed from the Client's website

  • The editorial content in these sections is no longer available

  • Refunds will be issued within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) business days, using the same payment method used at the time of purchase

6.4 Limitations

  • The right of withdrawal applies only once per customer account

  • It does not apply to business customers (companies, sole proprietors), unless otherwise stated

The Customer is advised that following a refund, the deactivation of sections is immediate and irreversible. Kleemt cannot be held liable for any loss of content resulting from this deactivation.

Article 7: Term of the License - "Lifetime" Commitment

7.1 Definition

The Kleemt license is granted for an unlimited term, defined as the duration of the company operating the service (Juliette Marty, SIRET 89967345300028). The term “lifetime” used in Kleemt’s marketing communications refers exclusively to “for the entire duration of Kleemt’s existence.”

7.2 Access to new sections

New sections added to the Kleemt library after the date of purchase are automatically included in the Customer’s existing license, at no additional cost, for the entire duration of the license.

7.3 Cessation of Kleemt's Operations

In the event of the permanent cessation of Kleemt.app’s operations, the following commitments are made to Customers holding an active license:

  • Code transfer: The complete code for the Kleemt sections associated with the Customer’s license will be sent to them via email in a format that can be directly integrated into their Squarespace site (copy and paste), without requiring any additional technical work.

  • Notice: Kleemt undertakes to complete this transfer before the service is permanently deactivated, so that there is no interruption in the display of the sections on the Client’s website.

  • Timeline: The Customer will receive this code transfer at least 14 days before the service is actually terminated, except in cases of force majeure.

Following this transfer, the Customer will receive a functional code that they may permanently integrate into their website, independently of Kleemt. No refund may be claimed on the grounds of the termination of operations, provided that the code transfer has been completed in accordance with the terms described above.

Article 8 - Intellectual Property and Rights of Use

8.1 Ownership by Kleemt

The designs, sections, CSS code, JavaScript scripts, visuals, mockups, and any other content provided by Kleemt.app remain the exclusive intellectual property of Juliette Marty / Kleemt.app.
Any reproduction, redistribution, or sale of these elements is strictly prohibited.

8.2 Rights Granted to the Customer

By purchasing a license, the Customer obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software on a single Squarespace site, allowing them to:

  • Display the Kleemt sections on the Squarespace site associated with its license

  • Edit the content (text, images) of the sections using the Squarespace interface

  • Allow visitors to access these sections

8.3 Prohibitions

The Customer expressly agrees not to:

  • Distribute, resell, or transfer Kleemt codes to third parties

  • Using Kleemt codes on websites not covered by its license

  • Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of Kleemt for the purpose of reproduction

Article 9: Limitation of Liability - Squarespace Compatibility

9.1 Independence from Squarespace

Kleemt.app is an independent tool not affiliated with Squarespace, Inc. Kleemt uses the technical integrations available on the Squarespace platform at the time of development.

9.2 Commitment to Maintain Compatibility

Kleemt is committed to using its best efforts (best-efforts obligation) to ensure the service remains compatible with changes made by Squarespace. In the event of a technical change by Squarespace that affects the operation of Kleemt, the team is committed to:

  • Notify customers as soon as possible via email

  • Work on a corrective update within a reasonable timeframe

9.3 Disclaimer

Kleemt.app shall not be held liable, and no refund may be requested in the following cases:

  • A major technical change or removal of features by Squarespace that renders Kleemt partially or completely inoperable

  • Squarespace's unilateral decision to restrict or prohibit third-party integrations

  • Temporary service interruption due to maintenance or updates

  • Incompatibility resulting from improper configuration of the Client's Squarespace site

In the event that a Squarespace update renders Kleemt permanently inoperable, the code transfer provision set forth in Section 7.3 would apply, allowing the Customer to retain functional code on their website.

Article 10: Customer Support

Customer support is available via email at juliette@kleemt.app. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.

Kleemt is a two-person team. Support is provided directly by the founders, which ensures personalized responses but does not allow for 24/7 support.

Article 11: Personal Data

Please refer to the Privacy Policy.

Article 12: Force Majeure

Kleemt.app shall not be held liable for any breach of its contractual obligations in the event of a force majeure event as defined in Article 1218 of the Civil Code, including, but not limited to: natural disasters, failures of third-party digital infrastructure (hosting providers, payment processors), cyberattacks, or government decisions affecting the service.

Article 13: Mediation and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any legal proceedings. The Customer may submit a complaint by email to juliette@kleemt.app.

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, if a direct complaint is unsuccessful, the consumer may seek the assistance of a consumer mediator. The contact information for the appropriate mediator will be provided upon request.

In the absence of an amicable settlement, the courts of Lille, France, shall have jurisdiction.

Article 14: Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

Kleemt.app reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes take effect as soon as they are posted on the website. The Customer will be notified by email of any substantial changes.
The applicable version is the one in effect on the date of the order.
